This short documentary follows an artist whose ultimate goal is to create artworks that the audience can resonate with. His unique life stories are embedded in his artworks, serving as a continuous motivation for him to maintain his individuality.

Pablo Alarcon Jr. is a Cuban-American artist from Miami, Florida. His work focuses on cultural inheritance and queer intimacy through the use of translation and familial iconography.

Working on The Artist was an incredibly special experience for me because it was my first time working collaboratively with other creatives, and it was my first major project while I was a freshman at Temple University (T for Temple U)!
